The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities has chosen the recipients for their 2011 Artist Fellowship Grants. I was among the lucky artists chosen. DCCAH will be celebrating National Arts and Humanities Month with a fete to acknowledge its hundreds of grantees, and will feature the work of the Artist Fellows at this event.

The Barry Gallery is hosting the Fine Art + Graphic Design Faculty Exhibition at Marymount University. It runs October 22 - December 12. Reception is Friday, October 22, 5:30-7:30pm.

The Marlboro Gallery is hosting the 52nd Annual Art Faculty Exhibition at Prince George's Community College. It runs October 6 - November 11. Reception is Thursday, October 21, 6-8pm.
